For our third full episode of Muse Video, our KDOL youth filmmakers take a look at an issue that goes under the radar of a lot of young people: climate change. It’s an issue that will drastically change our quality of life in the future and could threaten the survival of future generations.
Episode 03 features the award-winning animated short, “Wake Up Call,” produced by MetWest interns at KDOL, as well as “Solarize”, a homegrown music video (produced in collaboration with our friends at United Roots) that tackles the topic of climate justice and indigenous rights. We’ve also got music videos from Muse Video’s own L.L.D.B. and La’Marley and Lani from Youth Uprising. We also talk with young climate activist Shadia Fayne Wood of Project Survival Media about what young people can do to address climate change.
